According to the U.N. price index global food has hit an all-time high:
Prices rose to a new high in December, according to the UN's Food and Agricultural Organisation.
Its food price index was above the previous record in 2008 when prices sparked riots in many countries.
The report says soaring sugar, cereal and oil prices were the drivers of the rise.
