Down at the Depot

Here are a variety of station views from around the county. First up is this well composed scene of the Boston & Maine's depot at Pepperell, MA circa 1910. The light and shadows make this card a winner.

It's train time in Petoskey, MI in these circa 1908 and 1911 postcards. Petoskey was served by the Grand Rapids & Indiana Railroad until 1918 when it was bought by the Pennsylvania Railroad.

A sharp oil-fired 4-4-2 has just come into the train shed at San Jose on the Southern Pacific in this circa 1910 view.

Talk about landscaping! This is the Missouri-Kansas-Texas and the Southern Pacific Railroad's station in San Antonio, TX circa 1920.

It's  train time circa 1911 in Oshkosh, WI. Another up-front loco view that I use as a criteria for collecting station postcards.

Here we have 'train arriving' at the Philadelphia & Reading station in Norristown, PA.

Arrow, Colorado circa 1915 was a scenic stop on the Denver, Northwestern and Pacific also known as 'The Moffat Road'. Named for it's builder, David Moffat, it was the first railroad constructed that provided a direct route west out of Denver over the Continental Divide.
