Yosemite

Yosemite is probably one of the most densely packed beautiful scenery in the world. You can't turn around without seeing a 1000' waterfall. It's definitely the sort of place you can visit over and over again to discover all the unique nooks but the crowds, construction, and traffic can definitely scare some folks away.

We spent the day doing a few small hikes to a couple different locations. The upper and lower yosemite falls are very a very short hike away. The lower falls is like standing in a hurricane with fast winds picking up the spray and soaking everything.

We also visited Mirror Lake and the Vernal falls footbridge where the river flows very quickly with the spring melt. We finished off the day at Glacier Point which overlooks the entire valley. Unfortunately the sunset was blocked by cloud cover but it made for a pretty neat view of Half-dome.
