I have always been very interested  in architecture, but the type that really interests me, are the  buildings that are almost epic in scale. I really love to see the modern  marvels of the world and it’s pretty much my life goal to build one.
Here are the 10 biggest buildings  of the world. They are according to their floor sizes. I hope you will  like it.
Berjaya Times Square, Malaysia
Berjaya Times Square is a mega-scale  multi-purpose complex which contains a shopping center, two five star hotels, indoor theme park,  residences and offices. It has floor area of 700,000 m².
Dubai International Airport
Dubai  International Airport Terminal 3 is the single largest building  in the world by floor space. The building contains 97  escalators, 157 lifts, 180 check-in counters, 2,600 car-parking spaces  and has a floor area of 1,500,000 m².
Aalsmeer Flower Auction, Netherlands
Aaalsmeer  Flower Auction is the second largest building in the world. Every day,  flowers from around the world are traded inside this humongous Dutch  facility. It has a floor area of about 990,000 m².
Beijing Capital International Airport, China
The  year 2008 saw Beijing Capital International Airport as the 8th busiest  airport in the world. It is the second largest airport terminal in the  world and has a floor area of 986,000 m².
The Venetian, China
The  Venetian is a 40-story, luxury hotel  and casino resort in  Macau, China. It is the largest single structure hotel building in Asia.  It has a floor area of about 980,000 m².
The Palazzo, USA
The  Palazzo is a luxury hotel and casino resort. The Palazzo  doesn’t only hold the title as the 6th largest building in the world. It  is also LEED Silver  Certified. It has a floor area of 645,581 m².
The Pentagon, USA
The  Pentagon, the headquarters of the United States Department of Defense is the world’s largest office  building by floor area of 610,000 m².
K-25, USA
The  K-25 building in Tennessee, USA operates as a uranium enrichment power  plant. The U-shaped building was completed in 1945 at a cost of $512  million. It has floor area of about 609,000 m².
Hong Kong International Airport, China
Hong  Kong International Airport is one of the world’s busiest airports. The  terminal sides are mostly made of glass. It has a floor area of about  570,000 m².
Suvarnabhumi Airport, Thailand
Aside  from being the tenth largest building the world by floor area,  Suvarnabhumi Airport of Thailand is also the proud owner of the world’s  tallest control tower. It has floor area of 563,000 m².
