The new television series ‘Bama Belles’ has been premiered yesterday on TLC. The ‘Bama Belles’ is a documentary series about the life stories of the five women that include two transplants and other three are the natives of Dothan area. People have started speculating that the series may not able to portray fully and truly the characters that are inspirations of the real world and their life experiences. The actors who are portraying the real world characters have asked people to first watch the series before criticizing it.
According to the actors the ‘Bama Belles’ has covered all the aspects related to the Southern women lives and it will also include races of lawn mowers, apprehensive discussion regarding the people who have missing teeth and fishing. Amie Pollard has said that they are not ashamed of what they are but rather they are proud that they are sharing it with the world. In 2009 the short series was filmed in the area of Dothan. It was shown on various networks and has been renamed too but now TLC has picked up the series.
The series ‘Bama Belles’ includes the life stories of five women.
